MEDICAL COLLEGE OF GEORGIA - GRAND STAIR ADDITION
Location: Augusta, Georgia The monumental stair replaced an existing escalator. The stair features glass rails between the first and second floor which match the existing glass railing system. There are no columns instead the stair attaches to the floor slabs with moment connections allowing the structure to be self supported.
